Cute and Functional Mar 27, 2010
By ASY I bought this because the usb ports on my uni-body macbook pro are too close together. I could plug 2 devices in at once but it squishes them and I think that cannot be good for the heads of the devices I am plugging in. This usb port works well in solving that problem. I simply plug one end of the hub into my laptop and on the other end, I can plug a printer in an arm, a tablet in another arm, a printer in a leg, and a memory stick in another leg. For the printer and the memory stick, there seems to be an initial lag in when my computer sends and receives information compared to plugging it into the computer directly; but it is not that apparent as to make working with this hub inefficient.
The hub is very cute and it works well for my needs. There is a light that tells you when the hub is plugged in located at the heart of this little port-man. He also has a smiley face. The design is simple and sleek, very fitting accessory to pair with a mac. I would recommend getting it.

DOES NOT WORK Aug 13, 2011
By Linda I bought this at Bed Bath and Beyond and thought it was really cute but it does not work at ALL. Only one usb port works at a time, if you try plugging in a second, everything just fails. Basically, worthless as a usb hub. I called the Kikkerland customer service and they weren't helpful about it at all they basically said there's nothing they could do to help out.
THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. DON'T BUY.

Adorable BUT: Mar 09, 2011
By Maotseduck The hubman is absolutely adorable. However, it doesn't work. A thumbdrive or wireless mouse plugged in to any of the outlets stops working after a minute or two.
Returning this the same day it arrived.

I like it - Remember it has no extra energy supply Oct 30, 2010
By Robert Very creative
Nice looking
Remember this hub has no additional power supply so you won't be able to use all the ports simultaneously on high demand, specially if they have energy requirements:
for example I'm able to plug a external usb disk + 2 usb keys. Sometime the partitions on the disk are not recognize, but if I only plug the disk it did recognize them. I I only plug usb keys then it works fine.
But If you don't connect something like a usb hard disk it would be great. Remember it is always better to plug external usb hard drives to a port of the PC , not on a hub (unless it has a power supply)

Cute and Handy! Feb 11, 2010
By Mrs. H This little guy is great! He does the job, and is more fun than a regular hub. His design offers an advantage over many of the plain hubs, too! Some of the plain hubs I've used have the ports really close together, so bulkier items can partially block other ports, making them unusable. With Hub Man's arms and legs, there is plenty of room, so every port can be used, no matter what you are plugging in!
