When I plug a USB drive in the hub, the drive keeps going in and out of service repeatedly. So it is unusable.

I bought this product seeing its ultra low cost!!!
when I started using it I realized that this is useless without a power adapter!!!
so I had to buy a new

While I bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond I figured some feedback couldn't hurt. I HATE this thing. I am returning it God willing. It stopped working constantly after just days and pieces fall off and are lost so the interior is exposed.
Ya get what ya pay for folks- pick another one.

Shipping was fast. I bought 3 hubmen in total for Christmas gifts. I bought two hoping they would look like the picture with no words on the front and paid a few cents extra for them. Then I bought one with the words showing on the front. I didn't like the look of it as much as the one with no words but it was a bit less expensive. When my package arrived, all 3 hubmen looked exactly the same and all of them had the writing on the front - which I didn't want. Seems strange that I paid extra for the ones pictured without the writing, but they all arrived looking like the less expensive version. I just liked the look of the ones without the writing on the front better, and even though I paid a bit more for that look - I didn't end up receiving any that looked like the picture. Oh well, they're still pretty cute and were very inexpensive - under 3 bucks a piece compared to up to $20 in some cases! I kept one for myself - and although I haven't actually used it yet, he does look very cute sitting on my desk :)

the design is cute but the quality is really cheap, I'm surprised it even works. I'm getting a new one
